1. A copper wire has a resistance of 2.5Ω. What will be the resistance of a tungsten wire having a diameter, half of the silver wire and length one third? The specific resistance of tungsten is 30 times that of copper.
2. The current in the 6 Ω resistance of the network shown in the Figure 4 is 2A. Determine the currents in all the other resistances and the supply voltage V.

3. Two batteries A and B having e.m.fs of 209 V and 211 V having internal resistance of 0.3Ω and 0.8 Ω respectively were been connected to source of 225 V as shown in Figure 5. Find,
a. Magnitude and direction of current through each battery.
b. Power delivered by source.
